Juice Fasting

I’ve been thinking about this post for three or four days now. I figured it was time to share it.

I’m a big believer in natural “medicine.” My mom has a foot detox machine and we’ve definitely been known to go to Betty, the “herb lady,” @ Naturally Herbs over going to the doctor. There just seems to be more sense in putting natural stuff in your body over the stuff a pharmacist gives you. On top of all that, I’m a believer in the fact that doctors and pharmaceutical companies don’t want for us to know this stuff (and may not even be educated in natural healing) because that industry would die out.

A friend of mine recently told me that her husband will be juice fasting for a period of thirty days, so I decided to do some of my own research. I also thought I remembered something from my childhood about someone diagnosed with breast cancer refusing chemo and drinking natural juices instead. I thought I remembered her being completely healed of her cancer as well. While I didn’t confirm it with her, I did find quite a bit of research to support it.

While looking through many juicing websites, I also had FoodMatters (Netflix instant movie) playing in the background. FoodMatters quoted that one study completed a study of terminally ill patients that used juices for their diet. Terminally ill. Think about it. Those patients were told by their doctors that their cancer WOULD KILL THEM. Fifty percent of those told they would die were healed of their cancer through the juice fasting.
